"Where beading artists meet to show and tell."
I have been looking around here on Beaders Showcase. What a beauty of jewelry has been made already. Now I see I am just learning a lot of things. Unfortunately I am no designer, I have to make things of which I get the patron to make it. But I am glad to be a member.

First things first...
I know it's too late to introduce my self here, but being too late is better than never... :)
My name is Magda Mari Ulfah I have been beading since 2008 as an employee. I started my own company in 2009 (after marriage) and being online since 2010.
I started learning how to bead from a magazine without knowing what is knitting, weaving and so on.. I just follow my intuition to bead until know.... :)

Although I have followed Beader's showcase for a long time I have not done any posting. The site seems to be going strong and I have enjoyed seeing the work of all of you. I recently became interested in improving my bead crochet designs and purchased Judith Bertoglio-Grffin's book "African Stripes." I knew Judith years ago when I belonged to the New England Bead Society and was with her at the first Bead Cave. She has really come a long way publishing 3 or 4 books and teaching around…

Hello all!
I was honored to have one of my designs published in Bead Design Studio Magazine in April 2013.
However, when redrawing one of the figures, they made a mistake. Now, copy editing a publication is a very hard job. No matter how many times you look over the proofs, mistakes always creep in. And most of the time, they are inconsequential -- a period replaced with a comma or some such. However, this time the error makes the necklace impossible to…

Hi to all the bead enthusiast. I am new to the group and would like to share my life with beads with you.
I started beading in 1998, on a trip to Las Vegas and when I look back its hard to believe that I traveled from South Africa to get hooked on beads in Las Vegas. Always crafty and arty I tried my hand at whatever craft and called myself a professional craft student as I went to every craft class available. When I started bead weaving I finally found my niche and still cannot get…

Professional resume writing is booming and will keep its pace with the advent of technology. Everything is related to it. Be it seeking for a job after graduation or being a student wanting to do freelance operations, resume is a must. Until and unless a good and presentable display isn’t present In front of the recruiter, you are by all means coming back home empty handed. So resumes give the person in question the overview which he wants. It avoids all the unnecessary conversation and…

Hi It's been a long time since I have blogged or done anything here at the show case. Sure I've popped in when getting the message of a featured piece . That has been it. Since receiving an email from Jeff asking what we should do to make things better here. I realized something was up. I would hate to see this fabulous website go away. I'm not sure what would be the fix to draw people back to be involved more. I know for me it has just been life and being busy. But it is back on…

My husband is planning our cartrip down the eastern seaboard of the US to visit friends in northern Florida in April. I need to pack a kit for beading in the car. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated, especially with regard to a surface to work on that would withstand the car's movements and the limited elbow room.

Oh my gosh! So much has happened since I started my membership. I am now back in school & a divorced mother of 3 beautiful girls. I'm in search of an affordable home for all of us since I've been living with my mom & stepfather for 3 years had no luck finding a job & such. I've been going nuts putting everything aside including my beading so I could look for a job. Hoping this year I can get back on my feet & back to creating.

I used to visit this site often. I dreamed of posting some beautiful object. kThen I was landed with two Great kDane puppies. I can't spell cause the bandage on my finger hampers my typing. My finger is damaged becuase I had to scoop out Grover's mouth. Has any of you scooped out a GD's mouth lately?
Anyone who can bead with more that four dogs, please write. I need help.
Yours,
Nancy kBlignaut owner of one junkyard dog, one sometime terrier and dogsitter for my…
