4 LikesHello Carol, thank you for adding me as a friend. I am new here and have to change the pictures on my frontpage. Now sure yet how to do that, but I will find out. You've got lovely jewelry here. I am not that far, I just started less then two years ago. But I love to work with beads.
Hi Carol, so sorry it has been so long for me to respond to your friend request... I have been a bit inactive due to carpal tunnel in my right wrist and hand and of course I am right-handed... lol I have so enjoyed looking through your jewelry, you have made some absolutely stunning pieces... Looking forward to keeping in touch... Elizabeth :-)
Carol,
Indy has lost a couple of really good bead stores in the past 2 years. I teach classes for Beads Amore in Castelton on 82nd near Keystone. They are located on the north side of Indy just inside the 465 loop. they have a internet site. There you will find lots of selection of many types of beads. Purchase individual beads or strands, along with tubes of seeds. Drop my name and tell them you are from out of town and you'll recieve a very nice welcome.
On the south/east side of Indy near Fountain square, you will find a fellow IBS ( Indiana Bead Society) member that owns a store called Heirloom Beads. This is a smaller store and has a few less seed beads to choose from. But the atmoshere is very friendly and the choice of beads wide when it comes to crystals and natural beads. Judy the owner is a peach!!
If you are still in Indy on the 21st of November, please come join us at the Bead Society meeting, guests are allowed 2 visits before being required to join. Once again if you look on the internet under Indiana Bead Society, you can see the November project and get directions on how to get there.
Hope you have a great time in Indy!!
Joyce
It is very nice to meet you Carol!!
Hi, wonderful to meet you!! love Louise xxx
Nice to meet you here Carol.
Hi Carol,
Thanks for the friend invite. Beading for a couple of years now. Love how it "takes" me into a world of determination to learn new techniques and taps into my creativity!
Right now my favorite artist is Huib Petersen. Just love how he captures all that is beautiful in nature and develops it into a beautiful and unique piece. His work is breathtaking!!
Happy Beading!!
Oh, I started beading in 1996. I am an "off-loom beadweaver". I love bead embroidery the most! Sherry Serafini and Heidi Kummli are my idols.
